This line was the very new minimalist inspired design at the time. This pen draws its roots in the famous Montblanc lever mechanism pens from the 60’s.
The Montblanc patented mechanism, also known as the “11th finger mechanism”, is a special design where a lever is located under the clip thus when the pen is hanged into a pocket, the pocket’s fabric sliding under the clip will push the lever and turn the pen off. This was very clever and very convenient feature which made sure the hanged pen will always turn it self off and prevent incidental ink stains on the fabric. It is also very precise mechanism easy and fast to deploy.
The front section gives the pen a unique grip and weigh, thus providing a great balance and feel in the hand.
