MONTBLANC Set Fountain Pen and Ballpoint Pen 1960´s

Vintage Montblanc set manufactured in Germany in the 1960´s.

The set contains a Montblanc 24 Fountain Pen and a Montblanc 38 Ballpoint Pen.

MONTBLANC 24 FOUNTAIN PEN piston filling system in gloss black resin with gold plated trim.

Manufactured in Germany in the 1960s.

Gold filled cap band inscribed MONTBLANC 24.

The pen is in NEAR MINT condition. No damages, No scratches, No signs of use.
Pen barrel and cap are free from scratches, with no dents, cracks or hairlines. Shiny barrell.
There are no personalisations or names engraved. Clip and cap band are excellent, showing no signs of age.
Pen has been fully disassembled and ultrasonically cleaned to remove traces of old ink.
Ink view window is exceptionally clear.

Original 14ct gold wing nib which is stamped 14C – 24 – MONTBLANC – 585. Nib has an Oblique Broad (OB) writing tip, with moderate flex providing good line variation. Very smooth writer..

Pen measures 5.1/4 inches (13.5 cms) long with cap attached.

This is an elegant, stylish and lightweight writing instrument.

MONTBLANC 38 BALLPOINT PEN.

Manufactured in Germany in the 1960´s.

Clip lever mechanism.

Black resin Barrel and gold plated clip and ring.

The Gold plated ring bears the inscription MONTBLANC 38.

There are no personalisations or names engraved. Clip and cap band are excellent, showing no signs of age.
The pen is completely serviced, tested and cleaned.

Supplied with the original Montblanc refill (empty)  and a Schneider 225 refill with a Montblanc adapter to hold modern Schneider 225 refills.

The Montblanc case show little sings of age (see pics).
