Montblanc 420 Fountain Pen

Montblanc 420 Fountain Pen cartridge system in gloss black resin with gold plated trim.
Manufactured in Germany in the early 1970s.

Gold filled cap band inscribed MONTBLANC 420 Germany.

The pen is in Near MINT condition. No damages, No scratches, No signs of use.
Pen barrel and cap are free from scratches, with no dents, cracks or hairlines. Shiny barrell.
There are no personalisations or names engraved. Clip and cap band is excellent, showing no signs of age related ware.
Pen has been fully disassembled and ultrasonically cleaned to remove traces of old ink.
Ink view window is exceptionally clear.

Solid gold nib which is stamped MONTBLANC. Nib has a fine (F) writing tip with moderate flex. Very smooth writer.
Pen measures 5.1/4 inches (13.5 cms) long with cap attached.

This is an elegant, stylish and lightweight writing instrument.
