MONTBLANC Nº 32 engraved on cap band.

This Fountain pen was offered with two different front sections and nibs. The pen features a new at the time type semi-hooded nib. The era of the hooded nibs in the late 50s nibs was inspired by the Parker 51, which became a very popular pen. The pen features a extra fine nib and produces some amazing writing. The 60s Montblanc pens were the start of the new era, unlike the 3xx number series which had more torpedo like shape, these pens were modern, elongated, with sharp edges, more reliable and with focus on functionality. The Black Resin, the signature Montblanc´s material, is a specially tempered plastic which gives the pen a unique shine and gloss but also a protection, as this material is hard to scratch or damage. Pens made out of black resin will always shine like new. The pen has a unique feeding system, very reliable with a constant and even ink flow. The piston is smooth and takes a considerable amount of ink. Beautiful blue ink window under the blue tread, and the signature Montblanc star located on both the turning knob and cap.

The Fountain pen is in near MINT condition.
No damages.
No scratches.

Shiny barrel

Clip and cap band are excellent, showing no signs of age.
Pen has been fully disassembled and ultrasonically cleaned to remove possible traces of old ink.

This is an elegant, stylish and lightweight writing instrument.
Great pen to add to any collection.
