Montblanc 225 Steel Silver Brushed
Date of production: 1960’s / Germany.
Filling system: Piston Filling.
Material: Woodgrain matte black finished resin brushed body with plated clip and trims.

Nib: Solid 14K 585 White Gold, BB (Double Broad) size (sharp and precise)
Length: 135 mm (Cap closed).

Probably one of the most beautiful Montblanc Fountain Pens of the 60’s.

The quality is unique, materials are best there are.
This highly processed plastic unlike other plastics, simply does not crack. It’s very thick but also has some elasticity so its difficult to crack even if dropped. This tiny elasticity makes it very hard to ding, so dropping the pens does not damage what so ever.

The cap is solid steel with silver plating and brushed. The silver plating is also applied to the inside of the cap to prevent rust.

These brushed models were produces for a short time , thus are very rare.

The Fountain pen is in MINT condition.
No damages.
No scratches.
No signs of use.
Original 14ct white gold nib engraved 585 on it. Nib has an Double Broad (BB) writing tip, with moderate flex providing good line variation. Very smooth writer..

MONTBLANC 225 engraved on cap band.

Clip and cap band are excellent, showing no signs of age.
Pen has been fully disassembled and ultrasonically cleaned to remove possible traces of old ink.

This is an elegant, stylish and lightweight writing instrument.
Great pen to add to any collection.
